Items Needed for Hajj

Here’s a quick look at what all should make it to your Hajj/Umrah checklist. Vital documents and their copies are of utmost importance. These include:

  1. Valid Passport for at least 6 months from travel date ( (Make a copy of the information page)
  2. Flight info
  3. Certificates of vaccinations required
  4. Hotel booking vouchers
  5. Do not bring a lot of cash
  6. Unlocked mobile phone. You can buy a SIM card for it in Mecca or Medina
  7. Medical prescriptions and medicines. Ensure you carry your medications, particularly if you’re on treatment.

 

Self-care essentials you may need

  1. Umbrella
  2. Sunglasses
  3. Slippers (Open top and does not cover Heels)
  4. Sunscreen (Unscented)
  5. Unscented wipes and soaps
  6. Nail clippers
  7. Small scissors
  8. Toothbrush, toothpaste
  9. Power banks
  10. Phone charger
  11. Notebook and pen
  12. Travel-sized prayer mat
  13. Old phone as a Backup
  14. Download Qur’an and Dua’ Apps as well as Islamic travel apps for further guidance.
