General Advice

Here is what other Hajjis recommend

  1. Pack light – Clothing is cheap in Saudi
  2. Always keep your medication and valuables with you and do NOT place it in your checked in baggage
  3. Make sure your phone is unlocked and you can use it overseas
  4. Contact your CC companies to inform them that you may use the cards overseas
  5. Check with your Cell phone carrier and see if they have any international plans
  6.  Things you may need (Waist belt/small bag, String bag, Ihram Belt (For Men), Reusable water bottles, Wash bottle, Rehydrating Minerals (Powdered Gatorade), Healthy snacks
  7. Start getting fit.  Hajj required a lot of walking, so start your daily walks for at least 2 to 3 miles a day.
